The August 1997 issue of Playgirl was taken off the shelves by court order after Brad Pitt sued the magazine. Raised as a Baptist in the Midwestern state of Missouri, buck-naked Pitt ended up the subject of papparazi shots taken while staying at a hotel in the Carribean with his then-girlfriend Gwyneth Paltrow.
